Feb 5th & 6th: Uncool Fest @ 924 Gilman

SWMRS’ record release party is taking place over two nights at 924 Gilman with the likes of all California bands in the garage-punk scene. Expect appearances by The Frights, Dinosaurs, Melted, and No Parents (to name a few).


Every Monday: Adult Books Residency @ The Echo

Catch these Lolipop post-punks every monday night this month. They’re bringing along of gang of tight guests including The Molochs, Drinking Flowers, Psychomagic, Colleen Green,  Tracy Bryant, Numb.er, Billy Changer, and more!


Feb 11: The She’s @ Rickshaw Stop

The She’s will be melting hearts days before Valentine’s Day with Bay Area psych rockers Down Dirty Shake and Rachel Fannan. Visuals by White Light Prism! Tix here.


Feb 12: Midnight Mass “Be My Valenslime” @ DTLB

Long Beach’s Astro Lizard Records and Freak Style are at it again with this lovely second installment of Midnight Mass, this time featuring Kim & The Created, Feels, Santoros, Rudy de Anda, The Staches, and Maraudeur. Get your tickets now.


Feb 13: Galentine’s Day @ Blindspot Project Warehouse

And then there’s this. The Blindspot Project and Pizza Party Music are coming together to bring you a night of female fronted rock tunes with the likes of Pearl Charles, Emily Gold, Regrettes, Iris, and Genessa. Plus, there’ll be free pizza!


Feb 18-28: Noise Pop 2016 

If you haven’t already, start looking at the line up for this year’s Noise Pop festival to take place at venues between Oakland and San Francisco over the course of a week. Some acts we’re hoping to catch include The Thermals, La Sera, DIIV, Wax Idols, Plush, Parquet Courts, Fine Points AND SO MANY MORE! Click here for the full lineup and schedule.

Feb 19: Mystic Braves @ The Chapel

Mystic Braves are back again at The Chapel for their upcoming record release. Naturally, the Mad Alchemy liquid light show will be present.


Feb 27: Cobalt Cranes @ The Lost Room

Cobalt Cranes are set to play this homecoming show put on by lovers of the occult Sisters of the Moon, along with Spaceland Presents. They’ll be joined by Draemings and The Great Indoors.
